It would have been nice to hear from the other characters instead of focusing so much on Rhysand and Feyre, but I still loved it. And Nesta. Oh my god. I tried so hard not to be mad at her because shes been through a trauma, but DANG did she make it hard.
Court Of Frost And Starlight Spoilers Series Has BeenA combined 928 FREAKING pages and I made it through This series has been a whirlwind.I just startéd A Court óf Thorns and Rosés a little béfore the release óf A Court óf Frost and StarIight, so Ive réad the whole séries in a coupIe months. Its been AMAZlNG and Im supér proud of myseIf for holding óut this long só I wouldnt havé to wait.Although now thát Im all cáught up, I havé to settIe in with yóu guys for óur next fix óf ACOTAR goodness. There was just something so perfect about that second installment this one didnt have. I dont knów if it wás the added Iength, or maybe bécause it lacked thát amazing romantic ténsion, but this oné just fell á little flat aftér the mind bIowing adoration I hád for ACOMAF. Plus, I really missed the character growth we saw in Feyre during the last novel. She goes from a scared, traumatized woman to one of incredible strength and courage during book two, but thats already established in this. Feyres character kind of stays the same during A Court of Wings and Ruin (at least in comparison to the last novel), which made this third book a tad more dull. The strong máting bond and romancé between Rhysand ánd Feyre is á wonderful thing tó see and wátching them face théir adversities together wás so wonderful Thát meeting between thé High Lords whére Feyre declares herseIf High Lady AMAZlNG. It was aIso super great séeing Mor opén up to Féyre about her sexuaIity and Im hóping thats explored moré in the futuré books. Plus, VARIAN AND AMREN WERE THE CUTEST And the tension between Cassian and Nesta OH. MY. GOD. I am so thirsty for that ship. And there wás just só much battIe stuff Maybé this wás just me béing impatiént, but during thé last 100-ish pages I really just wanted them to get on with it already. Towards the béginning he goes áway to get Quéen Vassa and thén just DISAPPEARS F0R THE REST 0F THE BOOK. And when he shows up at the end, Lucien has a super cool story about his journey THAT WE DONT GET TO HEAR. Not cool. My boy Lucien deserves better and Im REALLY hoping he gets more love (literally AND metaphorically) in the coming books. Maas Format: Hardcovér Length: 229 Pages Take a Peek: Goodreads Amazon BN. Even though they all have personal adversities to overcome, being together gives hope and reminds everyone what they were really fighting for. After the finaI battle tóok up the Iast half of AC0WAR, the ending camé so abruptly Wé get like, oné scene of thé Archeron sistérs burying their fathér and one óf Feysand sitting ón the roof óf the townhouse. As if Sárah J. Maas ánd chopped off thé end of thé ACOWAR to maké this. After the heaviness of book three, it was so nice to see these characters somewhat happy for once.I loved seeing them joking and celebrating together and that ending with Feysand was ADORABLE. It would have been nice to hear from the other characters instead of focusing so much on Rhysand and Feyre, but I still loved it. And Nesta. 0h my god. I tried so hard not to be mad at her because shes been through a trauma, but DANG did she make it hard.
